COVID-19, aka the coronavirus, continues to infect people around the world. Even though cases of infection aren’t yet widespread throughout the U.S. and the immediate risk is quite low, there are things you can do to prepare for the worst.

Infected persons will need to be quarantined for at least 14 days, possibly longer, and health officials may eventually ask people to shelter inside of their homes if the virus’s reach grows.
