It’s totally possible to live a life full of adventure while crushing your career, you just have to get a little creative (and adjust your expectations accordingly). With that in mind, here are 4 simple tips you can use this week to get outside more.
You know what they say — the early bird gets the worm. In this case, “the worm” is some quality time outside before you have to head into the office. You could do a sunrise trail run, find some untouched powder in the backcountry, or anything else that’s accessible and close to home.
Getting up earlier than you truly need to might sound like a drag, but we’re confident the benefits outweigh the downsides. You’ll beat the crowds and have a pretty awesome story to share during the morning meeting.
Not every adventure has to be a grand one, and there’s where microadventures come into play. You could do a quick car camping trip close to home on a weekday, create your own race or obstacle course near home, or anything else you can dream up. Microadventures aren’t meant to be complicated!
