Check the can before consumption to ensure
there are no punctures
PREPARING 1/2 CUP DRY QUINOA
1. Remove oxygen absorber from contents
and discard
2. Add 1/2 cup (118mL) of boiling water to
1/2 cup of dry ingredients
3. Stir well, fully submerging ingredients
4. Cover and let sit for 10 minutes
5. Stir and serve
Alternatively, cook as you would pasta in
boiling salted water for 5 minutes.
When done drain in a fine-mesh strainer &
return to pot to keep warm.

PREPARING THE ENTIRE CAN
1. Remove oxygen absorber from contents
and discard
2. Bring 13 cups (3.07L) of water to boil in a
large pot. Add entire can of quinoa.
3. Follow steps 3 through 5 above
Please note: Rehydration time doubles
every 5,000 feet of elevation gain. Our
directions are set for 5,000
Storage Instructions: **DO NOT OPEN CAN UNTIL READY TO SERVE** Once the can is open, contents should be consumed within seven days. In between consumption, reclose the can with the plastic lid provided. Store at room temperature (70°F) or below. The lower the temperature of storage, the longer the shelf life will be. Temperatures of freezing or lower (32°F) should be avoided as it may affect the integrity of the can. Cans should be stored OFF the floor, in a dry, well-ventilated area.
