Preparation & Storage
    Directions: Remove and discard enclosed oxygen absorber before beginning food preparation. Remove Olive Oil Packet and add oil to other ingredients. Add 2 cups (480 mL) of boiling water to all contents. Stir well. Seal and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Stir and serve. Rehydration time doubles every 5,000 feet of elevation gain. Our directions are set for 5,000 feet.

      By far the best tasting dry food I have ever tried. I usually don't write any reviews but this one deserves it. Any other food I tried was either too hot spicy, too creamy, bad tasting or just a little complicated to prepare. For the first time I wanted to finish the whole bag myself. I strongly recommend it.       Easy to fix, and my wife and I both thought it tasted good for what it is. We let it simmer in the bag a little longer than the directions suggested. Based on the positive experience, we'll probably order a few more bags of this meal and try a few others from Backpacker's Pantry. (Posted on 5/13/2015)
