One of my favorites for breakfast. Just the right amount of food in the morning to continue on the journey, and tastes great.
The taste is good but would change the design of the bag and make it 2 inches shorter. My camp utensils can't reach down that far and the idea of a bag meal is to not have to use another dish.
Hey Jamie,
Send me your address and we will send you one of our long spoons we sell on our website! Please email me at sean@americanoutdoorproducts.com

Easy, delicious and filling. Good hot or cold. We have repeatedly purchased the granolas from backpackers pantry and enjoyed them all. Sometimes with the creamy milk/butter mixture they are almost too much breakfast for one person!
Great taste and very convenient for camping, outdoors activities, and emergencies
Use less water than it recommends to
This stuff is AWESOME!!!
Thank you J.P.!! We are so glad you enjoyed our meals!!
This is my favorite backpacking breakfast and I stock up to avoid running out. I love the flavor. Doesn't seem to matter than I usually drink oat milk and don't love cow milk nor powdered milk because the magical milk in this meal tastes just fine. I love that you can prepare this with hot or cold water. I choose to make it with hot water when I have that available but once or twice had to eat it with cold water and it was still good. The blueberries are good. They do not fully re-plump but the flavor is nice. I often supplement with fresh berries but still like this on days when I didn't have my extra blueberries. Probably the reason this continues to please me is because of the textures. The granola cereal has some crunch to it. The berries are chewy. The milk is liquid and creamy. This is just wonderful as opposed to a bowl of oatmeal that is all mush. This particular meal seems so fresh, nourishing, and healthy that it inspires me to try other meals by Backpacker's Pantry.
One of my backpackers panties go to wilderness breakfast. To get my day started.
This is a filling breakfast that I often prefer to eat warm, rather than another morning meal of oatmeal on backpacking and winter camping trips.
Good crunch and flavor. Has dairy (alert to vegans) and is creamier than I expected. I have also tried and enjoyed other flavors and the 2-serving size bag, which is usually enough food for me and my spouse to share!
I have always eaten either instant oatmeal for breakfast while backpacking. This granola breakfast sounded wonderful, but I was a little skeptical of a cold cereal. I am so glad I tried this, because it is delicious! It is my new "go to" for breakfast. Kept me full till lunch!
I did a review on my FB page. Was in the BWCA Boundry Waters Canoe Area in northern MN. 3rd or 4th day of 8. Was raining that morning so no fire. Temp was about 40° so I grabbed a cup of water and mixed it in. Watch my video for a true and Real reaction. Thanks for a great product.
This is my second favorite backpacking breakfast (after the granola with bananas). I trade off between the 2 for some variety. Creamy, crunchy and great source of calories.
This is like most backpackers food you eat out of the pouch, so nothing special with presentation.
It has plenty of blueberries and granola, and is tasty, so 5 stars there.
But a lot of the powdered milk is in little balls (BBs or small peas) and won't break up/dissolve. Soaking didn't help. Mashing each one w/ my spoon was tedious. 1 star.
In the end it was a tasty and nourishing breakfast swimming in purple tinted watery 'milk'.
Tastes delicious, easy to make, and the nutrition is in balance compared to other breakfast options I've previously eaten on the trail. Best of all it kept me full from sunrise all the way to a late lunch after hiking.
My go to breakfast in the backcountry. Almost 700 calories, it tastes good and only needs cold water. Better than any other breakfast I've tried so far. Easier than eating a bar and it has more calories, fats, carbs and protien.
It tastes as good as it sounds. Hard to go wrong with blueberries and granola. Plenty of calories to get your day started too.

This is really good, But a little high on Carbs, Even hiking the Carb count is pretty high

Holy cow this granola is so good! Made with real butter so you get lots of yummy caloric goodness to fuel you up for the day. I've only tried it with boiling water which was delicious but I'm looking forward to warmer mornings at camp to try with cold water!
