Ingredients: POTATOES , SAUCE (NONFAT MILK, WHEAT FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, MALTED BARLEY FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THAMINE MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID), MALTODEXTRIN, SALT, VEGETARIAN BEEF SOUP BASE (TORTULA YEAST, NATURAL FLAVOR, AUTOLYZED YEAST EXTRACT, CANOLA OIL, AND SILICON DIOXIDE (TO PREVENT CAKING)), BEEF FLAVOR (TORULA YEAST, HYDROLYZED WHEY PROTEIN, HYDROLYZED WHEAT BRAN, NATURAL FLAVOR, SALT), SOY SAUCE (SOY SAUCE (WHEAT, SOYBEANS, SALT), MALTODEXTRIN AND SALT), DEXTROSE (FROM CORN), SUGAR, CORN STARCH), BEEF (COOKED, DICED AND FREEZE-DRIED).

Preparation & Storage
Directions: PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
PREPARING 1 CUP DRY MIX:
1.) Remove oxygen absorber from contents and discard,
2.) Thoroughly mix contents,
3.) Add 2 cup (480mL) of boiling water to 1 cup of dry ingredients,
4.) Stir well, fully submerging ingredients,
5.) Cover and let sit for 13 minutes
6.) Stir and serve
PREPARING THE ENTIRE CAN
1.) Remove oxygen absorber from contents and discard
2.) Thoroughly mix contents
3.) Add 21 1/2 cups (5L) of boiling water to dry ingredients
4.) Follow steps 4 through 6 above
PLEASE NOTE: Check the can before consumption to ensure there are no punctures. Rehydration time doubles every 5,000 feet of elevation gain. Our directions are set for 5,000 feet.
STORAGE & HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS: The following storage instructions will ensure the maximum shelf life of this Backpacker’s Pantry product. **DO NOT OPEN CAN UNTIL READY TO SERVE** Once the can is open, contents should be consumed within seven days. In between consumption, reclose the can with the plastic lid provided. Store at room temperature (70°F) or below. The lower the temperature of storage, the longer the shelf life will be. Temperatures of freezing or lower (˜32°F) should be avoided as it may affect the integrity of the can. Cans should be stored OFF the floor in a dry, well ventilated area.
